Feedback from Blackrock summer camp 2014

I wonder if you could put the childrens name on the waiting list for next week – I enquired today at pick-up and understand that next week is full. The reason I’m asking is that both the children are now obsessed with your camp – I cannot believe how much fun they are having. Anyway, if at all possible, I would love to book them into next week (fingers crossed).
Can you pass onto Lisanne and the rest of the team that I was truly blown away with the way they combined learning with such fun. Every day the children were excited to tell me all they had learned and how they couldn’t wait until the next day. I was very impressed with how well each day was organised. I’ve already had to make a big promise to book next year.

I just want to thank you all at” Dig It” for a most enjoyable camp yet again this year. Unfortunately Peter will be too old to join you all next year so we will just have to find a way of joining in a dig at Trim perhaps!
Peter really enjoyed the different camps over the last three years and has maintained an interest in all things archaeological and historical thanks to your fun yet serious approach to the camps. Heartfelt thanks to one and all and may you have continued success in your endeavours over the years to come.

What a fantastic camp! James loved it & is still chatting away about all the things he’s learned. Usually we get an “it was good” after a camp but he’s telling everyone these were the “best days of my life”!!! High praise from a 9 yr old!!!

Just a quick mail to congratulate you all so much about what you have created.
I really think it is absolutely fantastic.
Finn loves it and Grace (the 6 year old “sponge”) has been an absolute font of knowledge, constantly educating and surprising me with really interesting and surprising facts about all sorts of things that she learnt at Dig It.
I am delighted it is going so well. No surprise that you are getting such good coverage.
We will contact you about the summer soon. Definitely coming back.
You should be very proud- it’s brilliant.

This week Neil has been literally jumping out of the bed singing each morning. He does really like school but he is never this enthusiastic to get up on a school day!. Thank you for my ‘Happy Boy’.

I have just viewed those great photos of Dig It, Blackrock, for 9th July and now I know why Peter had such a good time there. He really enjoyed the week and was so excited to discover what the next day would bring, it’s just a pity he couldn’t join the second week, but maybe next year.
The camp was very well organised and you all seemed genuinely interested in the kids and in what you were doing. I will definitely be telling people about it.

Thanks so much for the session this afternoon, Keir and Finlay really enjoyed it.
Finlay also enjoyed the summer camp; it was wonderful seeing his delight in joining in and learning in such a fun way. Even now, two weeks after the camp, our day is punctuated with at least 5 “did you know…”!! Your team was exceptionally well organised and connected really well with the kids.
