10.30am – 1pm & 2.30pm – 5pm
Saturday 30th August, Trim Library
Join artist James Kirwan at Trim’s Pop-Up Museum (in Trim Library) for two sessions of drawing that will explore the many functions and uses of two of the town’s medieval structures – its Town Walls and the cloisters of the Black Friary.
You can follow James as he creates huge drawings of each structure, populating them with impressions of the people who would have lived and worked there when they were in their prime.
Adults and children are invited to attend these sessions, where we will also be joined by one of the Irish Archaeology Field School team to tell us more about these parts of Medieval Trim.
Drop-in, no booking required.
